Description

• As a Sales & Marketing Coordinator you will lead marketing initiatives, manage social media, email campaigns, and website updates with a focus on SEO/SEM. • You will support the sales team, manage client follow-ups, prepare bid documents, coordinate events, and oversee brand materials. • You will also track performance metrics, maintain product knowledge, and ensure client satisfaction to drive repeat business. • Lead strategic marketing initiatives through social media platforms and company mailing lists. • Make follow up phone calls to clients on outstanding sales opportunities to inquire about project status and needs of client. • Manage website development (including keyword research and optimizing SEO/SEM) through the use of third party developers. • Support the sales team where needed: create project summaries, maintain contractor pre-qualifications, assemble data and reports on past projects, prepare bid documentation (employee resumes, project organization charts, safety manuals, quality plans, etc). • Work with the sales team on creating brand imagery, print material, annual themes, newsletters, campaigns, public relations initiatives, and connections with relevant associations throughout the calendar year. • Use SalesForce CRM software to manage subcontractor/supplier and customer database. • Manage and coordinate company marketing events, lunch and learns, and client meetings. • Review, design and source company swag for clients and staff. • Create monthly marketing and sales reports that track key metrics and provide insight on the effectiveness of the sales and marketing plans. • Prepare and submit quarterly Marketing Budget report updates. • Manage a database of tradeshows per industry and plan attendance strategy with sales team. • Coordinate photo and video editing to display active and completed construction projects. • Learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge relative to pre-engineered steel buildings, conventional steel buildings, concrete tilt-up and associated general contracting scopes in the Light Industrial and Heavy Industrial business segments. • Protect the interests both legally and financially against suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. • Ensure complete client satisfaction with the ultimate goal of creating repeat customers.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in a relevant field such business, sales or digital marketing is preferred. • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing and/or sales preferably in construction or another technical industry. • Experience working in Construction, Mining, Forestry, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment, Engineering or Real Estate industries. • Experience with CRM and digital marketing software (Salesforce, HootSuite, Survey Monkey, WordPress and/or Mailchimp) Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). • Experience in creative software such as Canva, Wix, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote. – Advantageous • Effective communication (via phone, video calling and email) is critical to interact with local Canadian teammates, clients and suppliers. • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment is important. They must be able to coordinate with other team members and contribute to the overall success of a project. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Stays calm and rational under pressure.
