Description

• The electrical project engineer plays a critical role in overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception to completion. • Responsibilities encompass various aspects of project planning, execution, and coordination. • KPIs will be formed from adherence to schedules, following budgets within reason and risk management. • A junior to mid-level candidate is acceptable. • Coordinate with team to understand project requirements and objectives. • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analysis. • Design electrical systems, circuits, and components in accordance with industry standards. • Manage procurement of electrical equipment and materials. • Supervise and provide technical guidance to electrical engineering teams. • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into project designs. • Prepare and present regular progress reports and financial analyses to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; master's degree preferred. • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on project management. • Strong understanding of Bitcoin mining hardware, power distribution, and cooling systems. • Knowledge of medium and high voltage electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Proven track record of successfully managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and practices. • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives.
