📋 Description

• Payroll Tax Analyst plays a key role in performing a wide range of analytical, reporting, and taxation tasks to support the Payroll department • This position demands exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to meeting deadlines, and a focus on providing outstanding service • Assists in the preparation and processing of payrolls in compliance with regulations for all company entities • Collaborates with the Payroll Manager, internal Payroll team, HR, and Accounting departments • Manages setting up applicable state and local accounts as needed for payroll processing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field and 5+ years of experience in multi-state, multi-entity payroll processing or equivalent combination of education and experience • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred • Strong knowledge of Workday and ADP required • Ability to demonstrate experience and proficiency in payroll and tax laws, compliance, and process • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance • Knowledge of payroll-related deductions and their impact on payroll and tax (401k, GTL, FSA, etc.) • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Advanced Excel skills required
