📋 Description

• The Assistant Director of Radiology will lead a team of talented and dedicated Veterinary Radiologists. • Mentor and train new staff, and contribute to career development of the Radiologists. • Responsible for supervision of a given sub-section of radiology staff and contractors. • Manage a team of staff Radiologists, responsible for performance standards in relation to quality, efficiency and productivity including Associate performance evaluations. • Remotely reviewing, evaluating and interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and other diagnostic images submitted digitally. • Serve as the first point of contact for concerns or complaints from staff radiologists. • Aid in managing quality control globally, working with Director of Quality Control. • Consult with clients and other veterinary professionals through Skype, phone and email. • Participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects. • Travel as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent • Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging • Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in respective state or country • Fluency in English • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong commitment to practicing the highest standards of medical quality while upholding the veterinary code of ethics • The ability to think outside the box, with a keen attention to detail • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize • Strong passion for helping people and animals • Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Proven ability to work effectively with clients and management is required • The ability to work effectively remotely with minimal supervision • Previous experience with Dragon software a plus • Previous experience with Dicom viewers desirable
