• Area Sales Manager • Home-based covering Yorkshire (BD, DN, HD, HG, HU, HX, LS, S, WF, YO, SK17, DE45, LN7) • Competitive salary, Car allowance & Benefits • At Marley, we’re raising the roof in the UK roofing industry! Marley is at the forefront of pitched roof systems, leading the industry in sustainability and innovation. • With over a century of know-how under our belt, we're the trusted partners for architects, contractors, and roofing professionals. • Due to internal promotion, within this successful team, we are recruiting an Area Sales Manager to cover the Yorkshire patch. • You’ll have full autonomy to sell solutions, add value and utilise our innovative products, all under our trusted brand. • Balance the development of new and critical business opportunities across a wide range of customers. • Negotiate, develop, and implement specific business plans to achieve regional sales targets. • Promote early pre-tender engagement and prepare and present project-related value propositions and solutions. • Attend regular meetings across your region and preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts to support planning. • This is a great opportunity to take the next step in progressing your career and joining our industry-leading company! Requirements

• A passion for your customers, ensuring they are at the heart of all you do • Excellent interpersonal skills • The ability to achieve targets through planning, analysis, strategic implementation, and commercial acumen • Excellent organisational skills • The ability to support, influence, and enthuse • Energy, with a clear ambition to progress and a passion for learning • Experience in external sales • Exposure to Specification or Technical Sales would be a bonus • Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop value-added presentations • In this regional role, you’ll need to live on patch, have a UK driving licence, your own car and be willing to travel within the patch covering Yorkshire. (a company car allowance is provided as part of your package)
