• The Non-Commercial Account Manager is responsible for driving sales through Contract Management Companies and Group Purchasing Organization partnerships. • Reporting to the Director of Strategic Accounts, this role plays a key part in executing the sales strategy for Food Service and Non-Commercial Markets. • Develop sales pipeline with GPO and Food Service Customers. • Support existing non-commercial relationships and create incremental growth through direct and indirect selling activities. • Facilitate sales activity with customers and non-commercial members through education, relationships, and traditional selling efforts. • Utilize sales data and reporting to cultivate new opportunities regionally and nationally. • Assist in Key Account and Non-Commercial bids, RFP’s, and opportunities. • Ensure sales goals are achieved within an assigned time frame. • Monitor customer relationships to develop action plans to address challenges and increase opportunities. • Coordinate with Sales Directors to drive opportunities in Food Service and Non-Commercial segments. • Maintains all sales demonstration tools and applications. • Develops and delivers sales presentations in a professional and effective manner. • Plan and participates in food shows and broker sales meetings as needed. • Conduct regular field visits and sales calls with Broker Sales Representatives and Key Accounts. • Maintains up-to-date awareness of company activities and industry trends. • Research competitors and competing products, and analyzes data to identify sales opportunities. • Monitors online sales activity, interprets sales figures, and reports to supervisor. • Investigates lost sales. • Controls expenses and monitors designated sales budget. • Plans, organizes, and coordinates food shows and annual conferences, including dinners with brokers, clients, and other key stakeholders. • Attend trade meetings and industry conventions. • Fully supports the company’s Mission, Vision and Values.
• Must have an associate’s degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Role. • Previous sales and sales support experience. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams. • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. • Advanced presentation and public speaking skills. • Technical and product knowledge capacity. • Ability to listen and understand customer needs. • Personal effectiveness and credibility. • Trustworthy and ability to maintain confidential information.
