β’ Provide leadership to Denial Management Supervisor(s) and their team(s). β’ Maintain or exceed team productivity and quality standards. β’ Work with Director to understand and communicate the root cause of denials. β’ Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and orienting new employees. β’ Monitor and evaluate staff performance. β’ Ensure all employees have tools and training for optimal productivity. β’ Develop and maintain quality control programs. β’ Plan, organize, and direct overall operations of the Denial Management team. β’ Actively engage with clients to understand needs and deliverables. β’ Ensure team stays current with client and industry requirements. β’ Maintain objective of high overturn rates and accurate client reporting. β’ Identify denial trends and make recommendations.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. β’ 3+ years' experience managing and leading at a supervisory level or equivalent. β’ Must have experience in revenue cycle management. β’ Ability to work well individually and in a team environment. β’ Exposure to Hospital denial management preferred. β’ Offshore/Global exposure preferred. β’ Travel to client sites required up to 10% of the time. β’ Must possess strong presentation skills and project a professional image. β’ Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. β’ High degree of integrity including ability to successfully deal with sensitive or confidential information. β’ Ability to exhibit poise, composure and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations.
