Description

• The Business Systems Analyst IV is a liaison between end-users/clients and IT department • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating complex business systems and user needs • Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies • Writes detailed description of user needs and program functions • Interviews end-users/customers to define business requirements for complex software modifications • Meets with external clients to discuss enhancement requests • Translates business requirements into functional specifications • Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications • Facilitates design sessions with business and technical resources • Defines and documents requirements for software specifications • Drives projects to completion for assigned projects • Develops project plans, prioritizes tasks, and provides updates on project progress • Ensures projects are completed on time, accurate to specifications and within budget • Performs quality control checks on software before release to QA department • Provides support to software development and QA staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and 8+ years’ related experience • PBM Experience is required, Medicaid Fee-For-service (FFS) is strongly preferred • Knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Knowledge of Oracle database and Oracle SQL • Familiar with relational databases and client server concepts • Good understanding of supported MedImpact products and services from a business and technical perspective • Good project planning skills (creation and definition) • Negotiation skills • Business requirements gathering and elicitation techniques • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
