Description

• Experience in the Enterprise Imaging healthcare IT field • Development and delivery of products on schedule and with high quality in accordance with the established quality standards. • Functional financial results which impacts business performance • Collaborating with product management to help define product roadmaps and developing delivery plans. • Work with cross-functional teams including business development, project management, other engineering disciplines, quality, configuration management, logistics, and manufacturing to plan, design, test and implement software products and their supporting documentation. • Interact with customers on projects, product features and issues • Monitor, mentor, and guide a team of software engineers and architects in their project assignments and ensure team motivation and morale. • Ensuring that the products’ architecture and design is aligned to markets and end users needs and trends. • Bring business acumen, insights, and industry knowledge into the product development life cycle • Pursues a program of self-development using selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education. • Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers. • Build and maintain collaboration across multiple sites in a distributed development environment • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

Requirements

• 12+ years related experience in software development or equivalent experience • 7+ years functional management experience leading software engineering teams
