📋 Description
• Mercana is seeking a self-employed independent sales representative to represent Mercana Furniture & Décor to a portfolio of retail storefront accounts • Meet or exceed sales budgets and metrics within a designated geographic region (territory) • Develop the right solution for the customers’ evolving business requirements • Attend Trade Shows and build productive trust-infused relationships with new and existing buyers • Identify and pursue new retail business opportunities within the territory • Build trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision makers • Prepare sales plans and quotation data reports on a monthly basis
🎯 Requirements
• 3 to 5 years in the furniture or home décor industry • Minimum 2 years working as an independent representative • Previous experience in wholesale distribution, product sales, logistics and/or ocean shipping preferred • A customer-service oriented individual who is familiar with retail and retail buying decision making • Ability to travel with the territory to visit key customers and to tradeshows when required • A highly motivated self-starter with a high level of attention to detail • A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
