Description

• Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, and product. • Work closely with hiring managers and interviewers across the business to help build high-performing, diverse teams. • Make a friendly first impression on candidates and (no pressure) act as the living embodiment of our cultural values. • Manage the top funnel of the recruiting pipeline from initial outreach to their first interviews, with an emphasis on engaging passive candidates. • Screen candidates with a keen eye for alignment with our open roles and Mercury values. • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives. • Experiment with creative ways of sourcing and analyze their effectiveness. • Actively think of ways to improve and scale sourcing processes. • Stay informed about industry trends, and act as a subject matter expert for the wider team.

Requirements

• Have 1-2 years of sourcing experience, ideally for business roles • See yourself as an expert sourcer and enjoy seeking out passive talent • Have an almost psychic level of empathy and intuition • Communicate with clarity, thought, and precision • Enjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams • Like working in a fast-paced environment • Have experience working at a high-growth tech startup • Have a genuine passion for sourcing and everything that comes with it!
