• The Manager, Supplier Relations is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing relationships with pharmaceutical wholesalers, manufacturers, and vendors, ensuring supplier satisfaction, improving platform offerings, and driving marketplace growth. • This role focuses on creating and executing strategies to enhance supplier performance, address product gaps, and ensure comprehensive product availability and competitive pricing on the MARKET platform. • Reporting directly to the VP of PrimeRx MARKET, this remote position involves up to 40% travel for supplier meetings, partnerships, and industry events. • The ideal candidate combines data-driven decision-making with strong relationship-building skills to foster long-term supplier engagement and expand product diversity across pharmaceuticals, OTC products, medical devices, and other healthcare items. • This role also plays a critical part in leveraging MARKET’s proprietary data sets—including pharmacy dispensing data, third-party reimbursement trends, and historical MARKET sales data—to drive supplier participation and inform internal decision-making. • Additionally, this role will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize the utilization of MARKET’s technology capabilities, including EDI/API-based integrations, self-service tools for buyers, and payments management solutions, ensuring seamless transactions and an enhanced marketplace experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Minimum five years of experience in pharmaceutical supplier relations, purchasing, managed care analytics, healthcare marketplace operations, or pharmaceutical business intelligence. • Experience working with pharmaceutical purchasing data, PBM reimbursement analytics, formulary strategy, or drug pricing models. • Proficiency in CRM platforms, data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and business intelligence reporting. • Ability to interpret and commercialize pharmaceutical data insights for internal business decisions and supplier engagement. • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills to influence supplier strategy and platform growth. • Ability to travel up to 40%. • Preferred Qualifications: • MBA or an advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Data Analytics, or a related field. • A Licensed Pharmacist (RPh, PharmD) or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with vendor management experience. • Experience in pharmaceutical marketplace operations, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), or pharmaceutical sales strategy with a focus on supplier engagement and data-driven decision-making. • Familiarity with supplier technology integration, including EDI, API-based solutions, and automated marketplace tools, to enhance supplier onboarding and transaction efficiency. • Experience with payments processing, order management platforms, or self-service marketplace tools to streamline supplier and buyer interactions. • Understanding of HIPAA compliance, data de-identification practices, and regulatory considerations for managing pharmaceutical data insights.
