Description

• Establishes and maintains a project budget and schedule as well as a communication plan with project teams and customers. • Develops and manages a project schedule (MS Project typically used). • Establishes and executes risk assessments and mitigation plans. • Ensures assigned projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements and prescribed quality metrics. • Schedules and leads project review and status meetings (internally and with the customer), and communicates project status effectively. • Negotiates and writes subcontracts for internal and external subcontractors, approves invoices. • Motivates project team members to ensure optimal performance. • Prepares budgets, reports, and scheduling for each project assigned. • Ensures the profitability and customer satisfaction goals of the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of project/program management or similar business or engineering experience • Or 8 + years of project/program management or similar business or engineering experience • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. • PMP Certification is highly desired • PM Masters Certificate (a plus)
