Description
• The Value & Implementation Medical Data Analytics Center Data Scientist Director assists the V&I organization in discovering information hidden in data to make data driven strategic decisions • Requires a unique combination of skills to gain trust from colleagues and execute data driven decision making • This role is for a self-motivated individual with strong business acumen and technical competence
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor's degree (computer science, physics, mathematics, actuarial science, or equivalent) with 10 years of relevant job experience; or Master’s degree (computer science, physics, mathematics, actuarial science, or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant job experience; or PhD (computer science, physics, mathematics, actuarial science, or equivalent) with 3 years of relevant job experience • Demonstrated experience in Advanced Analytics, NLP, AI, Machine Learning, Modelling • Experience with R, Python, SAS, or similar technologies • Experience using SQL and SQL relational databases • Experience with statistical methods such as correlation and regression • Experience using real-world data including EMR and EHR • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience and strong business acumen in the pharmaceutical industry • Ability to succinctly translate complex ideas and analytical results into actionable insights and recommended actions • Strong presentation skills • Experience in building effective cross-functional partnerships and working across global teams • Ability to influence peers and leaders • Ability to effectively work at a strategic and a detailed level • An entrepreneurial spirit with a high degree of initiative, innovative thinking, and intellectual curiosity • High degree of personal integrity
