Description

• Join our company as we transform and innovate. • Help define and mature our solution architecture practice. • Contribute to the development of our broader company's practice outside our team. • Define the identity and expectations of solution architecture practitioners. • Develop a strategic vision for our solution architecture practice that will be embraced by practitioners across roles. • Collaborate with practitioners to publish and drive a roadmap of outcomes. • Ensure the practice defines comprehensive documentation standards. • Build relationships across the broader IT organization leadership. • Define methodology for community to capture solution architecture patterns. • Coach and mentor senior community practitioners. • Demonstrate the value of the practice and decrease time to value for practitioners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, other relevant engineering / technical discipline • 15+ years of Compute/Hosting infrastructure solution architecture, engineering, delivery, and operations experience • 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience • 5+ years experience in working in Agile ways of working • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Preferred) • Advanced solution architecture certification (AWS Solution Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) • Experience leading a community of practice or open source style project that delivers outcomes without direct HR reporting structure (Preferred) • Experience architecting solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures (Preferred) • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF (Preferred) • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Intellectual curiosity to always keep your technical skills current while maintaining a pulse on industry trends • Advanced experience with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (Preferred) • Excellent collaboration skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration (Preferred)
