Description

• Mudflap serves the $800B trucking industry, the backbone of the U.S. economy. • As a Senior Merchant Operations Manager, you will ensure that Mudflap’s operations are running efficiently. • Develop merchant strategy in partnering with truck stops and strengthen network and offering to drivers for fuel discounts, merchant offers, and overall truck stop experience. • Lead operational OKRs and KPIs for the merchant network, which will drive positive engagement and usage across Mudflap. • Collaborate across teams to scale operations, optimize functions, and improve workflows and processes. • Present recommendations and results to management and key decision-makers.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in tech operations, project management, and/or business analytic roles • Strategy Builder: you can quickly understand business dynamics and company priorities and build a strategy and execution plan for merchant network success • Analytical Skills: you can develop actionable insights from complex data. You have experience with data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization tools. You are highly proficient in Excel/Sheets and SQL. Experience with Tableau, Python or similar is a plus • Process Champion: you have experience implementing end-to-end workflows and processes from scratch for new, future products and existing operations • Operations-minded: you find a way to get the function done and prioritize streamlining and improving processes • Collaboration: you are a strong cross-functional partner and are comfortable working across multiple internal and external teams • Communication skills: you can communicate complicated insights and arguments both verbally and in writing • Merchant Technologies: you are comfortable with technology and able to quickly grasp the intricacies of our CRM, internal products, and partner technologies.
