Description

• Oversee design, execution, and management of a Data Platform • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet climate monitoring goals • Guide software data engineers to meet evolving requirements • Recruit and plan for future organizational growth • Mentor team members and cultivate a high-standard engineering culture • Support continuous improvement of data and machine learning pipelines

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years direct management experience of 3+ people • Experience owning large (i.e. PB) geospatial data processing systems from design through to production • Experience building and executing on technical roadmaps • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with Business Development and Customers • Experience smoothly deploying continuously evolving data products to customers • Current US Federal Secret Clearance holder or eligible & willing to achieve a Secret Clearance with sponsorship
