📋 Description

• The Compliance Analyst will oversee projects aimed at standardizing processes across various Service teams to foster accountability and implement safeguards for health and welfare compliance. • Serve as a liaison between the Employee Benefits Compliance Team and Relation’s Operations and Service teams. • Provide proactive support to ensure our clients adhere to applicable Federal, state and local laws. • Manage, design, develop, and complete compliance projects to ensure that our internal teams and clients are meeting the requirements of various federal, state and local laws. • Stay updated with federal, state, and local regulations such as HIPAA and ACA. • Manage and investigate compliance related incidents and breaches, ensuring proper documentation and reporting to appropriate authorities. • Provide guidance, clear insight, and recommendations to effectively and efficiently achieve compliance with Federal, state and local requirements. • Conduct compliance reviews for new clients during onboarding and provide guidance where necessary in collaboration with internal teams. • Conduct regular audits and reviews of organizational practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. • Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. • Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance activities, findings, and outcomes. • Conduct research to respond to ad-hoc client inquiries.

🎯 Requirements

• A Life Accident and Health License from state of domicile is required within 3 months of hire and must be maintained thereafter. • 2+ years of healthcare compliance, auditing, risk management or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience. • In-depth understanding of healthcare laws and regulations. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are required to maintain effective relationships with clients, team members, and others. • Ability to conduct audits and risk assessments. • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word). • Excellent presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions. • Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness. • Must value operating in a collaborative work environment.
