β’ The Compliance Analyst will oversee projects aimed at standardizing processes across various Service teams to foster accountability and implement safeguards for health and welfare compliance. β’ Serve as a liaison between the Employee Benefits Compliance Team and Relationβs Operations and Service teams. β’ Provide proactive support to ensure our clients adhere to applicable Federal, state and local laws. β’ Manage, design, develop, and complete compliance projects to ensure that our internal teams and clients are meeting the requirements of various federal, state and local laws. β’ Stay updated with federal, state, and local regulations such as HIPAA and ACA. β’ Manage and investigate compliance related incidents and breaches, ensuring proper documentation and reporting to appropriate authorities. β’ Provide guidance, clear insight, and recommendations to effectively and efficiently achieve compliance with Federal, state and local requirements. β’ Conduct compliance reviews for new clients during onboarding and provide guidance where necessary in collaboration with internal teams. β’ Conduct regular audits and reviews of organizational practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. β’ Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. β’ Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance activities, findings, and outcomes. β’ Conduct research to respond to ad-hoc client inquiries.
β’ A Life Accident and Health License from state of domicile is required within 3 months of hire and must be maintained thereafter. β’ 2+ years of healthcare compliance, auditing, risk management or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience. β’ In-depth understanding of healthcare laws and regulations. β’ Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are required to maintain effective relationships with clients, team members, and others. β’ Ability to conduct audits and risk assessments. β’ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. β’ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word). β’ Excellent presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions. β’ Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness. β’ Must value operating in a collaborative work environment.
