Come grow with us! • About the Role • We are looking to hire a skilled IIoT Integrations Engineer to design and implement solutions for our clients. You will be traveling to clients' locations, analyzing system requirements, developing solution proposals, creating design documents and assisting with commissioning. You will be deploying hardware/software integration solutions, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support. • To ensure success as an IIoT Integrations Engineer, you should have excellent knowledge of industrial processes, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A skilled IIoT Integrations Engineer should be able to easily identify and design a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose. Our ideal candidate has considerable professional experience in a relevant role, in addition to experience with modern IoT technologies. • Responsibilities: • Scoping projects based on client meetings and site surveys • Drawing schematics and creating project documentation • Creating proposals to demonstrate how solutions will be implemented and evaluate cost • Deploying integration solutions, including both hardware and software • Developing testing and commissioning plans for implemented solutions • Troubleshooting system errors • Providing clients with technical support • Support communications design • Support commissioning of systems (installation verification, data validation, data provisioning)

Requirements

• At least 5 year's relevant experience • Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profibus, etc) • Experience with IoT protocols and tools (MQTT, HTTP, Node-RED, Ignition Edge) • Experience with IoT edge hardware (Linux OS, RevPi, Opto22, JACE, physical I/O) • Knowledge of modern software deployment tools (Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes) • Knowledge of software best practices (version control, GitHub, credential storage) • Expertise with industrial SCADA/DCS/PLC/Historian Systems • Strong networking skills for IT/OT networks (SSH, IP subnetting, firewalls) • Strong background working with common security protocols • Electrical and mechanical engineering experience preferred • Applicable industry experience would include industrial refrigeration control systems (Ammonia, CO2, Freon), energy monitoring, and manufacturing processes • Ability to travel when required, up to 50-75% • Ability to embrace and exemplify Ndustrial’s core values: Customer First, Curiosity, Quality, Teamwork
