Description

• Run client workshops to map and define business requirements and process for the implementation team to follow, providing business process re-engineering advice and guidance • Conduct the product configuration process, dealing with any functional or design issues and provide a bridge between the client project team and the technical team for any development activity • Provide support to the client during the User Acceptance Testing and Go Live phase, handling any issues which may arise, triaging these and raising with the development team where required • Clarify and influence client expectations and keep the client and project manager informed of progress/activities • Provide training to the client on any part of the system. This may be to the project team, the client’s trainers or end users of the system • Participate in advice and guidance on product enhancements • Provide overviews of new functionality to clients and the same to prospects in a sales-support function • Keep abreast of any new releases of the application software so that duties can be performed effectively, and value delivered to the client • Maintain workshop and training documentation in line with new releases of the application software • Assume role of lead consultant responsible for the implementation of the product • Maintain close client relationships, particularly with the client project team using commercial awareness and recognising when to use each type of consultancy intervention depending on the client situation • Work closely with other NECSWS personnel to ensure implementations meet the client requirements and objectives • Analyse and understand client needs and clarifying their expectations • Keep the client and Capita project manager informed of progress/activities • Contribute to the overall project planning and review • Develop and continually look for improvement in the implementation methodology

Requirements

• Proven experience of implementing Human Resource Management Software (HR and Duties) Applications • Knowledge of integration issues with other products • Strong consulting skills: relationship building, active listening, analytical thinking, problem solving and written skills • Well developed interpersonal skills: handling workshops, meetings, interviews, interactive design sessions, presentations, and training sessions • Good understanding of the client business functions • Strong troubleshooting skills • Communication (ability to liaise at all levels, internally and externally) • Ability to work as part of a team but can also be self sufficient and show initiative • Ability to prioritise within given parameters • Enthusiasm and commitment
