• New Flyer / MCI is a leader in the North American heavy-duty transit bus industry. • As the Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our bus solutions to clients. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners. • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and tailor sales initiatives accordingly. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met. • Prepare and deliver effective presentations on product offerings to prospective clients. • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. • Represent New Flyer / MCI at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the Transit industry. • Working knowledge of heavy duty transit bus architecture and components. • Working knowledge of industry standards, regulations, funding sources and grant application processes. • Sales experience, preferably in the transportation or manufacturing industry. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) and sales force automation tools. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Problem analysis and resolution at both the strategic and functional level. • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
