• Assures all Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) are properly chased and captured • Manages all RFP/RFQ coming into the company including assuring estimating, contracts and proposal managers are appropriately assigned • Conduct industry research and analysis to yield strategic insights and strategic business alternatives based on trends • Develop and support marketing strategies; attend marketing briefings, client and partner meetings, and conferences • Participate in risk analysis, bid/no-bid decisions, and major proposal setup and review • Oversee the proposal phase of the opportunity to ensure successful delivery of a compliant and compelling submittal to the client • Provides project dossiers to Operations upon contract award.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with responding to a high volume of RFP/RFQ’s • Superior organizational, follow-up and detail-oriented skills • Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work professionally and courteously • Ability to make decisions, solve problems and exercise good judgment • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload • Ability to work independently, in a team environment and work with minimal supervision • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Office 365 software suite • Must be a decisive leader • Must have a clear understanding of what drives profit and loss on a project and portfolio level • Must be able to understand contracts and what is required to deliver the project within contract boundaries • Must have a strong and proven work ethic • Needs to be able to understand company long-term strategy and how their project chase and capture achieve these strategies • Must be willing to travel at least 10% of the time • Hold a valid US passport.
