β€’ We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to promote and sell our cutting-edge pharmaceutical devices to academic institutions... β€’ This role focuses on building relationships with researchers, operators, and procurement teams to support their scientific, research, development, and manufacturing technology needs... β€’ The ideal candidate is passionate about science, has a deep understanding of the academic landscape... β€’ This position reports to the SVP, Strategic Alliances. β€’ Responsibilities include leading and managing sales team, developing sales strategies, engaging clients... β€’ This position will be remote, with the expectation of up to 75% travel.

Requirements

β€’ Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or academic sector sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role. β€’ Experience working with or selling to academic institutions is highly preferred. β€’ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive market. β€’ Strong understanding of the academic sector, regulatory requirements, and product lifecycle management. β€’ Excellent leadership and people management skills. β€’ Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts. β€’ Proven ability to establish rapport and credibility with academic, research and biopharma professionals. β€’ Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organizational skills. β€’ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends. β€’ Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. β€’ Passion for science and education. β€’ Persistent, resourceful, and adaptable in the face of challenges. β€’ Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. β€’ Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. β€’ High degree of professionalism and ethical behavior. β€’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
