Description

• actively participating in patent protection process for Nvidia’s technology developments • providing training, education, and counsel to internal clients on patent filing and acquisition • instructing and directing Outside Counsel on patent application drafting, filing, and prosecution • making strategic decisions to develop our patent portfolio • partnering with Legal Department on intellectual property matters • developing subject matter expertise and driving client counselling and invention harvesting • participating in NVIDIA contributions to standards setting organizations and industry workgroups • collaborating on development and deployment of Patent Department policies and tools

Requirements

• technical undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience), preferably an EE or Computer Science degree • 7+ years of experience in patent application drafting and prosecution • J.D. degree with a record of strong academic performance and a license to practice law in California is strongly preferred • Registration to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office is required • Outstanding interpersonal skills: written and verbal, organizational abilities, and attested attention to detail
