β€’ Generate new business through cold calling, on average 40 calls per day. β€’ Build and maintain a customer base by recognizing freight forwarding business opportunities. β€’ Partner with internal subject matter experts to become well educated in all OEC products and services. β€’ Offer solutions through OEC Group's services including ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance and customs brokerage. β€’ Achieve monthly sales quotas set by the sales management team. β€’ Utilize Sugar (CRM) to track client's key information, build and maintain sales pipeline, and measure KPIs. β€’ Work closely with the sales support team by reviewing quotes to ensure the client's needs are met. β€’ Meet with current and potential clients within assigned territory. β€’ Maintain consistent communication with other departments and overseas offices. β€’ Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 5-10 years of freight forwarding business development/outside sales experience. β€’ Possesses a book of business in international ocean, air and/or customs brokerage. β€’ Demonstrated hunter mentality to continuously bring in new business opportunities.
