Description

• Inspect translated text for context translation accuracy and errors. • Review Software user interfaces, Documentations, User guide, Training material, Packaging, and other localized content for consistency, quality, and adherence to localization requirements. • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within Insulet providing detailed feedback on translated screens and other materials. • Foreign language research of certain medical terms and their proper use. • Ability to make recommendations regarding cultural/localization issues affecting software products. • Create and maintain terminology to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural conformity. • Work closely with Development, Software testing, QA, and UX addressing changes and feedback. • Work as part of a dynamic team on a wide variety of projects. • Coordinate Internal review of screens and their localization. • Log issues in Insulet bug tracking system (JIRA) and follow up on resolutions. • Serve as main/backup linguistic expert for language translation. • Understand the downstream impacts of localized screens on User guides, training, marketing, etc. • Participate in meetings and provide status updates to direct reports and various stake holders.

Requirements

• Successful candidate must be fluent in at least two of the following languages: Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, and Romanian. • Strong command of written and spoken English. • Proficiency with common Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.). • Excellent written/verbal communication skills. • Highly detailed and organized. • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. • Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively with other team members. • Motivated and able to learn fast. • Experience with localization processes and technologies is desirable. • Previous experience in software testing is desirable. • Knowledge of two or more languages besides English (i.e. multilingual) is desirable. • Knowledge of linguistic concepts is desirable. • Previous experience using JIRA is desirable.
