• Ooma's 2600Hz sales team is seeking an accomplished Strategic Sales Director with established relationships in the Service Providers and Telecom Carriers space. • This role requires a candidate who can drive sales at a senior leadership level as an individual contributor by engaging with Service Providers. • The successful candidate will lead a Service Provider segment, leveraging their industry connections, driving revenue growth, and mentoring junior team members on the best approaches to establish and nurture relationships within the Service Provider sector.
• Proven experience in sales & account management with the ability to achieve exceptional results; minimum of 5 years in a senior sales role. • Established relationships with Service Providers and Telecom Carriers. Highly desirable to have prior experience with the BroadSoft and/or Metaswitch ecosystems. • Deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, preferably with experience in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) solutions. Bonus if you have experience in CCaaS and CPaaS. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market trends into actionable plans. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Executive presence and excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels. • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. Extensive experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans, including pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue generation. • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships. • Ability to travel as required. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
