Description

• Associate Directors, Business Development are an essential part of the OPEN Health Business Development team • They are crucial in driving business growth and expanding the company’s market presence, specifically within the Evidence & Access Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Market Access Practice • They focus heavily on business development by growing existing business and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining a strong pipeline of potential clients and projects wins • Responsible for planning, implementing, directing, and administering all aspects of the human resources function for the Mid-Atlantic Region • Providing day-to-day management of the Employee Relations team • Ensuring all leads and opportunities are accurately and appropriately tracked in the CRM

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, PharmD, MD or MPH in business administration, life sciences, health economics, public health, or relevant field • Sales experience related to HEOR and Market Access services to biopharma • 5 years experience in a healthcare environment, at a scientific communications agency, strategic consultancy, HEOR/market access consultancy (or similar) • Strong collaboration and partnership with key internal and external stakeholders • Strong proficiency in MS365 including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook • Experience effectively utilizing CRM platforms and similar tools to support and inform business development planning, targeting, and successes • Documented success in building an organic network, cultivating new business prospects, and hitting financial targets in the healthcare sector • Professional and confident approach with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills and outstanding attention to detail, including presentation development and delivery • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a “can-do” attitude and a strong sense of ownership, pride and accountability • Effective organizational and multi-tasking abilities • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset; ability to think critically and problem-solve • Enthusiastic, team player, self-motivated attitude, and demeanor
