Description

• Sales Target Achievement - Meeting or exceeding sales targets for your assigned territory. This involves developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. • Forecasting and Planning - Developing sales forecasts and strategies for the territory based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights. This helps in aligning sales activities with overall company goals • Budget Management - Responsible for managing budgets related to sales activities, including expenses for travel, sales promotions, and customer engagements. • Develop existing and new client relationships within the territory, to serve as a strategic partner • Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the pet food supply chain. • Providing training and support to distributors and retailers on product features, benefits, and selling techniques. Ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively promote and sell Open Farm products. • Addressing customer issues and resolving complaints promptly and effectively. • Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and partnerships within the territory. • Working closely with marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and other marketing activities within the territory. • Monitoring market & industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Ability to develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve a sales target • Ability to analyze data to drive strategic plans • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment • An outgoing personality with excellent people skills • Strong ability to relate and effectively build relationships with people • 3+ years working experience in related field • Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Proactive and positive attitude • Valid driver's license • Passion for Pets and the Planet • Proficiency in basic Excel and PowerPoint; experience with sales reporting systems
