Description

• Hire, lead and motivate a remote team of experienced Cloud Engineers in the US. • Roadmap execution through backlog management and sprint planning in Jira to prioritize value-driven business outcomes • Lead the growth and improvement of our highly scalable data management ecosystem to adapt and support the evolving needs of our business partners • Use your innate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and internal drive to continually grow, develop, and hone your craft • Closely partner with our Business Engagement Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Customers to identify, prioritize, scope, and deliver value-driven data solutions • Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures. • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer • 1-2 years of team leadership or management experience • Ability to balance, prioritize multiple projects, and remain calm under pressure. • 3+ years Kubernetes and Helm experience a must • 3+ years Git + CI/CD (Gitlab preferred) • 3+ years Major cloud provider tooling (AWS, Azure, GCP) • 3+ years with VM tooling (Packer, etc.) - desirable • 3+ years configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Pulumi) • General programming/scripting skills (e.g. Python, Go Lang, Node.js + Express.js, TypeScript)
