• We’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative to become an integral part of our sales team and play an essential role in shaping our pipeline and achieving recurring revenue growth targets. • This role is to execute successful outbound activities that lead to qualified business opportunities for our sales executives. • The SDR we are looking for has a lot of determination but also knows how to be positive in the face of resistance. • You must also be self-motivated, organised, and have excellent communication skills as you will often be the first point of contact with prospects. • Experience with ERP/MES systems and/or an interest in the manufacturing industry would be an advantage but you’ll be working as part of a very experienced team that will help you learn. • Generate new qualified business opportunities at the top of the funnel by generating sales qualified leads and nurturing warm prospects and customers. • Meet or exceed ambitious goals and targets. • Help support the wider sales team goals for revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition and retention. • Undertake outreach via multiple channels such as phone, email and LinkedIn to generate new sales opportunities. • Use your cold calling skills and perseverance to establish and nurture relationships with prospective customers. • Lead discovery conversations to understand the needs, key drivers and success factors of prospects and be able to recommend appropriate solutions from our suite of manufacturing software. • Secure and book appointments on behalf of the sales team. • Participate and attend some exhibitions and meetings. • Stay up to date with all the products and services we offer. • Report to the sales manager.
• Previous sales or lead generation experience in a B2B environment, with a history of successfully exceeding targets. • Action oriented salesperson who will drive the sales process by generating leads • Strong and confident communication skills, both on the phone and via email. • Results motivated you are driven to progress you career within sales • Experience using CRM software. • Customer focused, you are interested in understanding requirements and finding the best fit solution.
