• The position reports to the SVP of Professional Education and collaborates closely with external stakeholders. • The position will work with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs. • Liaise with thought leaders to educate the broader physician community. • Build out and maintain an ongoing skill/capability platform for our speakers. • Ensure all training activities coordinate with and enhance Pacira’s marketing, sales, and medical affairs plans. • Routinely evaluate the effectiveness of and update Pacira’s regional workshops. • Maintain appropriate training records for all assigned Pacira external personnel. • Build and manage Field Trainer program. • Align customer solutions including regional workshops and in-services. • Collaborate with other functional leaders within commercial organization to create a culture of collaboration and results orientation. • Maintain fiscal responsibility and manage departmental budget.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (advanced degree preferred). • Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical/biotech experience. • 4 years in sales management or thought leader education preferred. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. • Demonstrated effectiveness in small, nimble, innovative environments. • Ability to connect with and inspire people. • Excellent ability to deliver compelling / persuasive presentations to diverse groups of all sizes. • Proven ability to design and deliver sales training programs that promote unwavering adherence to regulatory and compliance rules. • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver highly technical, medical product/medical technique education. • Proven ability to train trainers and successfully manage field training programs and teams. • Demonstrated ability to be a team player, working across department and divisions in collaborative environment. • Ability to work well independently. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, to set priorities and to meet deadlines. • Demonstrated customer service approach.
