• Build and maintain relationships with a defined customer base • Responsible for achieving assigned account objectives • Partner with producers/brokers to enhance the client experience • Serve as the primary contact for agents and sales representatives • Assist client strategies interfacing with employers, carriers, and vendors • Manage client requests, including problem resolution • Analyze claims, census, provider, and network database information • Develop and nurture existing relationships
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant work experience required (an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree) • Must have an active Life, Accident & Health Insurance license or obtain license within six months of full-time employment (must maintain license and continuing education requirements) • Ability to travel 1 to 2 times per year based on need required • Competent and proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office suite • Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form with executives, management, sales, and operations staff • Excellent comprehension of Account Management principles • Excellent customer service philosophy • Excellent project management, time management, and presentation skills • Strong knowledge of underwriting and actuarial principles preferred • Strong understanding of health and benefit products, vendor tools and services preferred
