Description

• Coordinate and monitor purchasing and contracting requests. • Review contracts and proposals for organizational and funder policy compliance. • Generate agreements and track through the review process. • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within PRI. • Serve as the first point of contact for purchasing and contracting requisitions. • Manage the purchasing inbox and assign messages to the appropriate team member or vendor files. • Provide guidance regarding essential information needed for agreements. • Process and track supplemental and subawards agreements. • Work with the Accounting Team for purchase card requests. • Train users and contribute to training materials for contracting processes.

Requirements

• Associates degree or five years of related experience • Three years of experience supporting purchasing, finance or related field required • Knowledge of federal grants, procurement and contracting processes • Ability to work with or through various groups of internal and external people • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Superb project management and process tracking / monitoring skills • Strong verbal and written skills, and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily understand • Exercise sound judgement and think logically to prioritize and carry out tasks and responsibilities • Valid driver’s license • Successfully complete pre-employment background check • Ability to accurately communicate and exchange information with partners, stakeholders, and/or meeting participants • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs • Ability to travel independently by car and plane regionally and nationally • Ability to operate standard office equipment • Ability to operate motor vehicle
