• As a Sales Manager, you will play an integral part in growing Penumbra in Australia by Increasing sales and customer satisfaction within Australia and APAC region as a whole. • You will work with Marketing Managers, Country Managers, the Director of Sales and/or Vice President of Sales on a continual basis to ensure superior customer service and product use, satisfaction of recruiting needs, and employee development. • You will strive to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales plan. • Attract, hire, and retain top sales professionals to be a part of the Penumbra team. • Select, manage, train, and develop staff. • Develop strong working relationships with assigned sales team. • Create professional development programs for territory managers. • Provide team members with continuous feedback and coaching. • Manage team to create a dynamic, supportive, and cohesive environment. • Commit to travel as necessary for position and coaching/management of team members. • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s) in region. • Lead aspects of international congress meetings and trade shows. • Organize and implement customer events. • Prospect and develop relationships with prospective customers. • Increase account penetration with orders. • Maintain open communication lines with current and prospective customers. • Establish, implement and monitor sales plan for region. • Complete other special projects as requested by Sales Director/VP. • Keep current on Penumbra products or services. • Attend industry trade shows as assigned. • Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives. • Manage sales expenses to maximize profitability. • Maintain accurate record of sales expenses, customer files and field sales reports.

Requirements

• A BS/BA degree or equivalent experience with 5+ Years of medical sales experience required with at least 2+ years of sales management experience • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously • Salesforce or other CRM experience • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with excellent presentation skills • Strong international distributor channel management experience is a plus • Strong sales, business development and negotiating skills • Self-motivated, decisive, and a creative problem-solver • Provide high level of customer service
