• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SEC Regulations • Assist in building and leading a service-oriented team and related processes and internal controls • Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard accounting and close processes • Assess and mitigate financial risks, providing recommendations for improvements • Partner with business process owners to implement process efficiencies • Ensure appropriate documentation of internal controls • Identify areas of potential or real risks or gaps • Support collaboration across departments to enhance cross-functional understanding • Identify opportunities for system enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is required • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required • 7+ years experience of practical work experience leveraging global processes and tools in areas of accounting operations and financial reporting • 3+ years experience managing/supervising staff at all levels within an Accounting group • 3+ years of experience with NetSuite ERP system required, experience in implementing new systems preferred
