Description

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with US GAAP and SEC Regulations. • Assist in building and leading a service-oriented team and related processes and internal controls. • Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard our accounting and close processes. • Assess and mitigate financial risks, providing recommendations for improvements. • Partner with business process owners to implement process efficiencies. • Ensure appropriate documentation of internal controls including narratives and process flowcharts. • Identify areas of potential or real risks, develop and implement remediation plans. • Support collaboration across departments to enhance understanding of financial processes. • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and lead implementation efforts. • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is required. • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required. • 7+ years experience of practical work experience leveraging global processes and tools in areas of accounting operations and financial reporting. • 3+ years experience managing/supervising staff at all levels within an Accounting group. • 3+ years of experience with NetSuite ERP system required, experience in implementing new systems preferred.
