Description

• Manage and strategically expand Plaid’s IP program and portfolio. • Partner cross-functionally to identify ideas for patent protection. • Manage Plaid’s trademark portfolio and brand protection. • Draft and negotiate IP provisions in commercial agreements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of in-house patent portfolio management experience. • 7+ years experience in patent application drafting, prosecution, and litigation. • Experience with trademark portfolio development and brand protection a plus. • Strong interest in fintech, including open banking and payments. • Excellent writing and communication skills. • JD degree required with US Bar admission. • Must be admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
