Description
• Responsible for oversight of the monthly and quarterly processes for measuring and recording the company’s revenue. • Key team member interfacing with IT, FP&A, Operations, and Accounting. • Manage and analyze data using ASC 326 Current Expected Credit Loss applications. • Manage day-to-day revenue accounting tasks and play a key role in the month-end close process. • Review/perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis. • Participate in completion and documentation of global revenue process controls. • Identify analytical trends and key drivers in the revenue model. • Work closely with external audit team regarding all quarterly review and annual audit requirements. • Partner with management on continuous improvement of the revenue process. • Mentor junior team member and provide technical guidance and support. • Assist the Revenue Controller with other ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned. • Collaborate with colleagues across Accounting, IT, FP&A, Operations, and other departments.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. • 7+ years experience and knowledge of US GAAP to include revenue recognition and credit losses • Strong MS Excel skills [ability to produce graphs/tables, pivots, lookups, macros] • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple overlapping workstreams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience working for a global company with multiple currencies • Experience utilizing ERP systems (i.e. Oracle) • Solid analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
