Description

• Responsible for product strategy and marketing expertise for the portfolio of the company’s products. • Manage the entire product lifecycle including defining the product vision and roadmap. • Work closely with engineering, sales, and technical support to ensure goals are met. • Assist engineering in developing product features and benefits. • Develop go to market strategy and assist upper management in pricing strategy. • Develop marketing plan and materials with upper management. • Attend trade shows and conduct product training for sales. • Function as the “go to expert” for product selection and applications expertise. • Create technical presentations at various events.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and upstream bioprocessing applications • Working knowledge of PAT guidelines. • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant scientific field is a required. • 10+ year’s relevant marketing experience with proven, demonstrated track record of successful product marketing. • Travel expectations are as needed, anticipated around 50% overnight travel. • Strong business acumen in dealing with customers from direct contacts to senior management/decision makers. • Advanced analytical, strategic planning skills and critical thinking is required. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills must be able to communicate long-term vision. • Strong organization skills and ability to lead people to a vision. • Ability to understanding technical requirements from customers. • Follow trends in the end market to understand the market environment and specify what to sell and promote
