• Develop and implement the enablement strategy, program and curriculum for the sales/SC organization that increases salesforce productivity and performance. • Define, develop, prepare and modify training agendas, schedules, presentations and materials to address the requirements of the different sales team roles. • Work with cross functional teams to define, develop and manage delivery of a blended learning model to include instructor led (subject matter experts), webinars, event based and self-paced training. • Partner with subject matter experts to develop and deliver curriculum covering information about the company, markets, products and services, competition, sales processes, SC processes, sales methodology, sales tools and skills training. • Work with product marketing, sales management, solution consulting management and training to define, develop and deliver videos, sessions, assessments and certifications. • Define and develop curriculum specific for sales/SC management and coaching. • Define strategy for technology to be used for delivery and maintenance of program content and training paths. • Define, develop and deliver coaching, training and outcome improvement resources on ad hoc basis designed to increase individual sales representative and SC results - as needed. • Proactively motivate, coach and provide feedback to salespeople and SC on an ongoing basis. • Define KPIs and report monthly on utilization, adoption and performance against the KPIs to monitor program performance.
• Previous experience in a quota carrying role and ability to understand the challenges that the sales team encounters daily is desired, especially in a “complex sale” and emerging technology environment. • 5 + years of experience in one or more of sales, pre-sales, product management or product marketing functions, or sales enablement role. • Direct experience with developing and launching sales enablement or sales training programs. • Expertise with blended learning and active learning approaches. • Proficiency in learning management, CRM technology, Seismic or other content management technology. • Excellent written, oral communication and coaching skills. • Experience working with global, cross functional teams for content development and distribution. • Proven passion for working with and improving sales people’s productivity, performance and satisfaction. • Experience with defining and deploying metrics and reporting that inform program effectiveness.
