Description

• Looking for an experienced Transmission/Interconnection Engineer to integrate capacity modeling into software. • Act as a subject matter expert for modeling assumptions and data quality. • Engage with clients to answer questions and improve product fit. • Work on economic modeling projects related to transmission congestion and energy development. • Collaborate with external partners and support technical sales calls.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more areas: transmission planning, renewable grid integration studies, power system economics and reliability assessment. • Previous consulting experience (EPE, Siemens, LEIDOS, nFront, LCG, Ascend Analytics, ICF, etc). • Working knowledge of energy system base case studies. • Experience with TSAT and powerflow modeling solutions (e.g. PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, PSCAD/EMTDC, ASPEN). • Desire to work in a small and growing team in an autonomous culture. • A MSEE or PhD.
