Description
• Responsible for accurate and timely patient registration utilizing medical systems. • Verify patients demographics and insurance plans over the phone. • Provide exceptional customer service to physicians, patients, family members, and all other medical professionals. • Perform registration and basic insurance verification. • Explain processes and forms to patients prior to securing signatures. • Assist with all possible account resolutions pertaining to patient balances.
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED • Customer Service Experience • Computer savvy with experience navigating between multiple systems simultaneously • Must have MS Office Experience and excellent typing skills • iCentra Registration Experience (desired) • Experience working in a healthcare environment (desired) • Completed a Medical Terminology class (desired) • Certification in healthcare access preferred (desired)
