Description
• Analyze claims information to identify, analyze, and resolve complex accounts • Investigate and analyze claims to identify denial reasons and create appeal letters • Contact providers to learn the status of previously resubmitted claims • Calculate expected claim reimbursement and notate accounts with updates
Requirements
• Excellent analytical, fact-finding, problem solving and organizational skills • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with staff, patients, and insurance plan administrators • Experience in hospital billing • Ability to work successfully in a team setting • At least one year experience in interpreting hospital contracts
