•RapDev is seeking a highly skilled pre-sales Solutions Engineer to join our Datadog Sales team. •Responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to customers and prospects. •Work closely with the sales team, customers, and technical staff to propose, design, and demonstrate solutions. •Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new opportunities. •Conduct in-depth technical presentations and demonstrate expertise in achieving the value of Datadog’s solutions. •Design and propose customized solutions that leverage Datadog’s products and RapDev services. •Lead technical discussions with customers and prospects. •Conduct hands-on proof of concept testing and product evaluations. •Develop technical content and collateral to support sales and marketing initiatives. •Act as a subject matter expert on Datadog’s solutions.
•5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or a similar technical sales role, preferably in the software industry •Hands-on experience with Datadog solutions and a strong understanding of use cases and value propositions •Technical capabilities in areas such as Cloud Engineering/SRE, Application and Infrastructure configuration and maintenance, Application Development/SDLC •Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience •Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop customized solutions •Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities •Strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset •Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
