📋 Description
• Help a small company make a BIG difference in space. • Join the distinguished team to sustain and enhance the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Common Ground System (CGS). • Implement JPSS Program command, control, and communications and data processing requirements. • Play a critical role in NOAA’s mission to understand and predict changes in weather, climate, oceans, coasts, and space.
🎯 Requirements
• BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 10-12 years of Software Engineering experience with BS/BA, 8-10 with MS and 5-7 with PhD. • Experience with software development methodologies and life cycles. • Experience developing software using Java, C++, Python, Perl, Powershell, Bash etc. • Familiar with common software development tools including Git, Gradle, Ant, Jenkins, etc. • Experience working in an Agile development environment. • Extensive experience with Windows OS. • Willing to learn new things. • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
