• Help drive organic growth as the Director of SEO. • Develop and lead a team for a partnership with a leading name in financial content. • Create a robust SEO strategy to increase brand visibility. • Define and execute a resourcing strategy to staff your team. • Analyze organic search landscapes to drive valuable traffic and bottom-line value for the business. • Test and innovate digital marketing strategies.
• A self-starting, proven performer with at least 5 years of experience in SEO. • Agency Experience is preferred. • In-House SEO Experience is also preferred, but not required. • Someone who wants to work remotely from home: • Opportunity to initially start remotely or at the Fort Mill Office is an option. • Ability to support Red Ventures Operations by working 9 am to 5 pm Eastern Time is needed. • Someone who can travel on a monthly basis: • Ability to work at Red Ventures’ Corporate Headquarters in Fort Mill, SC, on a monthly basis on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays is needed. • Ability to work from home the other weeks. • A proven leader and developer of talent with a track record of driving strong performance and growth from your team. • A frequent reader of SEO journals and newsletters. Stays close to industry trends. Opinionated about the long-term direction of organic search and can translate it into strategy. • Deeply familiar with Google’s quality rater guidelines, Google Search Central blog and SEO starter guides, Web.dev documentation, and the like. • Diligent in tracking your competitive landscape. Capable of identifying emerging competitor tactics, changes to the SERP, and themes from algorithm updates and can proactively and quickly adapt strategy. • Innovative thinking around using AI to improve team efficiency on monotonous tasks. • Passionate about innovating in organic search, don’t accept theories at face value, and enjoy testing to prove the effectiveness of tactics. • Interested in full funnel testing and page optimization - bringing in traffic through organic search + on-page multivariate testing to optimize revenue per session.
