📋 Description
• About RepresentUs • RepresentUs is America’s leading nonpartisan organization working city by city, state by state to fix our broken political system • RepresentUs seeks an experienced fundraising professional to serve as a member of the development team • The Director of Development (DOD) will lead the development and management of a portfolio of 150+ donors • Expected travel for this position is 8-10 days per month • This is a full-time remote position and the candidate must be located within the United States
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in fundraising, or another highly similar role • 5+ years of experience working with a CRM • Experience working with donors who have the capacity to make five-figure and six-figure gifts • Well versed in moves management and the major gift fundraising cycle • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Great interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with people from across the political spectrum • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, both working autonomously and part of a team • Must be able to anticipate needs, adapt or modify plans, and adjust timelines or processes in response to quickly changing circumstances • Experience managing up and delegating tasks to ensure efficiency and effectiveness • A team player who brings high energy and a passion for reducing corruption and increasing citizen engagement in the U.S. political system
