Description

• Implements, maintains, and prepares payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices • Creates and maintains state level registrations for personnel mattersFacilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, internal controls, compliance, and taxes • Experience computing variable compensation payroll structures • Experience with state and federal registrations and management of accounts • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite • Experience with payroll software - bonus for experience with Rippling
