Description

• Incumbent will be responsible for managing the sales activities for the region • Supporting the Channel Partner Network, selling in direct accounts in parts of assigned territory to ensure revenues meet corporate goals • Work directly with key accounts to establish relationships to contribute to their business goals • Drive performance of Channel Partners Sales Force • Facilitate product training for customers and representatives • Assist representatives with making/closing sales calls • Focus representatives on Target Applications • Facilitate strategic territory/account development sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred • Three to five years outside sales experience selling engineered 'process controls' equipment • Process Instrumentation/Valve Automation, Rotating Equipment and/or Hydraulic/Fluid Power sales background a plus • Experience in the valve, actuator, flow controls or related industries – prior transferable experience, such as inside sales and field service, is acceptable • Experience managing Manufacturers Representatives • Training in strategic sales process (i.e. Miller Heiman or similar) • Experience selling into one or more of the following market segments: Power, Pipeline, Steel, Refinery • Experience doing business with (selling/relationship building) major/key accounts in the region
